As Seen In The Blogworld: Must Make Vegan Thanksgiving Recipes.

by Namaste Gurl on November 22, 2011

Can you believe the day we’ve all been waiting for (or agonizing over!) is just three short days away? Crazy, no?  I don’t know how you feel, but it came sure fast!

I want to share a collection of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes I’ve complied that I’ve seen around the blogworld. Because if you’re like me, you just need another drool- worthy recipe to add to your long list of “must make”.

Angela’s holiday salad with cranberry apple orange vinaigrette.

Can I have a straw, pleaseandthankyou?!?

Roasted Maple Cinnamon Chickpeas and Squash by The Wannabe Chef

How good does this dish look, seriously?  A unusual, yet popular Thanksgiving side dish your guests will be begging for more of.  Makes a perfect side dish for vegetarians and non- vegetarians!

Not into spiced chickpeas and squash?  Maybe from scratch stuffing grabs your attention more….

Ashley’s herb baked stuffing (gluten free and vegetarian!)

Who says stuffing is just for Thanksgiving?  If I don’t have time to whip this up for the big day, I’ll definitely be trying to something in the near future.  :)

Looking for a non- meat main dish full of protein and likely for even the meat eaters to turn away from their turkey?

Try Angela’s Ultimate Vegan Lentil Walnut Loaf with apples, carrots, walnuts, and herbs.

Curried Lentil Squash and Apple Soup.

Butternut squash mac n’ cheese (to die for, I can attest as I’ve made it!)

You can’t have Thanksgiving without a good pie, now can you?

Mama Pea’s old- fashioned pumpkin pie.

Gluten- intolerant like me?  You’re in luck as I’ve got the perfect suggestion….

Angela’s gluten- free pecan crust .

Vegan?  AND gluten free?  AND from scratch?  A dream come true in my opinion.

Looking for more vegetarian and vegan friendly holiday recipes?  Check out NY times Well’s vegetarian thanksgiving series which contains a variety of different recipes for everyone….

I hope these recipes created by my fellow, and not to mention creative, bloggers inspire your upcoming Thanksgiving meal.  I know quite a few of them will make it to my table if not on Thanksgiving then during the holiday season.  Tomorrow I’ll be back with suggestions of my own personal fav Thanksgiving type recipes, and a couple festive soup recipes!

XO

That cranberry salad at the top is already on my list. Mmmm can’t wait to make it!

I’ve made Mac n Cheese like that before except I used a fresh sugar pumpkin instead of butternut squash. It was deelish! I should definitely do that for Thanksgiving.
