Love Is….

by Namaste Gurl on April 14, 2011

Hey Friends!  How’s your week going?  It’s almost friday, that’s definitely something to look forward to!

Initially I was going to post about a green overnight oats creation I made recently that I LOVED, but I thought I take the time to post about something else….

That something being love.  In which I’ve seen all around me the past few days, which have been tough, but love shined through.

Love is the crunchy, nutritious granola that I find on my doorstep upon returning from school…..

I got “loved” by Love Grown Foods :-)

SO excited to try all these yummy granolas sent to me.  Thanks so much, LGF! :)

While love may be in the granola form, it’s also in dinner form, too.  Cuz’ you can’t eat your dessert without your veggies first :)

Love is your kind and generous mother bringing you Whole Foods hot bar while your working away.

My mom knows me too well, and brought me just what I love: smoked tofu, curry sesame kale, roasted veggies, bulgar, and vegan carrot- ginger soup.  Couldn’t have asked for anything more- those little acts of kindness really add up to so much more! <3 you mom!

Love is also coconut butter brought to you by your sweet mama, after a hard and tough day.

Again, she knows me much too well!

Errr, I meant coconut oil.  Or did I?

Looks like Artisana made a mistake and used the wrong sticker.  A girl knows the difference between her coconut oil and butter! :)

Looks like a trip back to Whole Foods is in store this afternoon!

Still love you lots, mama!

……

Finally, love is the beautiful, coastal area that I call “home:-)

What is love for you currently?  Don’t be embarrassed, I’d love to know! :)

Happy Thursday, all!

XOXO

Mmmm beautiful! I’m happy that you’re feeling the love. Lately for me LOVE has been: yoga, working in the garden, spending time with Woody and my doggies and just experiencing immense gratitude for the abundance of blessings in my life! My grandma used to always say, Love is the answer. Love is the way. Here’s to LOVE! Sending YOU lots of love, girl! <3

You mean oil? Haha. That’s no coconut butter; it’s oil [yes, I was one SAD camper when I found out!] :)

I could never tell the difference between coconut oil and butter! Though I’ve only ever seen butter on the blogs…

Hehe, you’ll get it once you start using more coconut. It took me awhile to learn the difference between all the coconut products and their properties, but finally have it down. Coconut oil is the oil extracted from the whole coconut, whereas the butter is the actual meat containing all the amazing nutrition and fat :)

“Supposed” to be butter, but it’s turns out it’s oil. Artisana made a BAD mistake placing their sitckers…. Boo.

I love discovering new blogs… and studying outside! Unfortunately it’s supposed to rain here for the next week… and all I wanted was to sit in the grass studying for finals :(

LOVE IS SUNSHINE! (;
